| Egleston Square is located
at the junction of Washington Street and Columbus Avenue. The community, while not
an "official" Boston neighborhood, extends west and south into Jamaica Plain,
north into Roxbury, and east to Franklin Park and the edges of Dorchester. Many
cultures meet in Egleston Square. The annual Hands Around Egleston street fair
highlights food from the Caribbean, and Latin America, traditional African American dishes
