The Fields Corner branch has re-opened following the completion of building improvements including roof restoration, select insulated window installation, and the replacement of the storefront and doors.

DISTINCTIVE ASPECTS OF THE COLLECTION
The collection is a good example of what one finds in a small neighborhood branch -- best sellers, a core group of popular fiction and a representative non-fiction collection.

RECURRING PROGRAMMING OFFERED
Children's story time is offered at various times during the year.

SPECIAL PROGRAMMING OFFERED

HISTORY
The Fields Corner Branch opened in 1969. It was the successor to the old Dorchester Branch which was also located in Fields Corner.
