A Special Event
On Friday, May 10, nearly seventy librarians from all
over the state converged at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, for a full day of
learning and collaboration with MFA staff. The day-long workshop, titled "A
Star*Spangled Summer at the MFA," was jointly sponsored by the Museum and the
Boston Regional Library System. Designed to highlight ways to combine reading
and art to support this year's Statewide Summer Reading Program theme, the
program also allowed librarians and Museum staff to explore future cooperative
efforts for youth and family programming. |
