Up-to-date information is available in the circulating Career Collection on the Concourse Level of the Johnson Building for anyone interested in looking for a job, researching careers, or exploring a career change

This includes materials on different careers, resume writing, job search strategies, and self exploration.

There is also information on civil service, education, and job training programs, and study handbooks for civil service, vocational, professional, and ASVAB exams.

Classified ads from Boston, regional, and national newspapers are available daily in the Newspaper Room, located on the first floor of the Research Library.

Internet Links for career, salary, relocation information, job searches, and business information is available from the Library's webpage, Career - Electronic Resources.

The Kirstein Business Branch is an excellent resource for researching companies and nonprofits, as well as small business opportunities.

For your convenience the TERI College Access Center (also available at http://www.tericollegeaccess.org) is located next to the Career Collection. It is not a library department but an independent agency using space in the Library. TERI provides guidance and assistance for people interested in furthering their education and researching financial aid and scholarship opportunities. The staff can help in the filling out of applications and financial aid requests. The center has college catalogs, vocational education information and a computerized General Interest Surveys for the undecided.
