BPL Compass Roundtables

by Michael Colford

The dates and times for the first set of Compass Roundtable gatherings are now in place. There will be two public roundtables in the upcoming weeks. Compass roundtable topics include: a review of the Compass process to date, an introduction to the Compass Principles, and an interactive exercise on outcomes. These roundtables are for all residents, citywide, and the conversation is about the whole Boston Public Library, systemwide. Please spread the word to your friends and neighbors and help the BPL chart its course to the future.

The dates and times are as follows:

  1. Thursday, April 21, West End Branch, 6:00 – 7:00 pm
  2. Thursday, May 5, West Roxbury Branch, 6:00 – 7:00 pm

There will be a second set of Compass roundtables during the summer. Visit www.bpl.org/compass for additional details or send comments via email to compass@bpl.org. Copies of the downloadable meeting flyer (PDF) along with new Compass bookmarks are in the process of being distributed to all BPL locations.
