This month, the Boston Public Library will begin a series of Compass Roundtables designed to offer continuing conversation about the library’s strategic plan. There are eight guiding principles in the library’s BPL Compass plan (www.bpl.org/compass), and the first two that will be discussed are Sustainable Organization and Children & Teens.
The Boston Public Library’s Chief Financial Officer, Sean P. Nelson, will lead the Sustainable Organization roundtables which will include a FY13 budget overview and budget planning timeline. The dates and times for these discussions are:

The Boston Public Library’s new Youth Services Coordinator, Jessi Snow, will lead the Children & Teens roundtable, which is scheduled afterschool so that young people can attend. The discussion will focus on the future of youth services. The date and time for the Children & Teens roundtable is:
