		<description><![CDATA[Regarding Access and Innovation, Fun, a) Develop a better more available not so edited forum where all who work at our library and library users can share hints, tips, pointers. b) Update the old models for Reference Desk services. c) Instead of having to turn up at a particular place and time for a one time event, make it more available using this medium, using this technology too. d) Offer more staff opportunities to contribute their expertise writing about Boston Public Library collections. e) Get rid of a fickle pissant librarian attitude toward those of us who may not have your expertise by being more transparent about how you so called library professionals do what you do. f) Affiliate our Boston Public Library with the library and information studies programs like University at Albany http://www.albany.edu/graduate/cci_graduate_programs.php and University of Rhode Island http://www.uri.edu/artsci/harrington/ g) Offer Boston Public Library on site academic affiliated programming, on site continuing education programming for staff. Make our BPL a teaching library in the same manner we have teaching hospitals. Arrange for on site at BPL courses/programs with University at Albany, University of Rhode Island for library workers.]]></description>
