New East Boston Branch of the Boston Public Library – update

by Christine Schonhart

Winter is upon us and the team at the site for the new East Boston branch library – located at the end of Bremen Street Park, near Prescott Street – is working hard to get the roof up before our first snowfall. Check out these great pictures to see the progress. The branch is scheduled to open in the fall of 2013. Download the project fact sheet (PDF) to learn more.

  1. I always relished visiting this specific
web page once a week or so since you really do normally have some excellent articles so congratulations through one of the supporters.

I live just up the street from this beautiful park and now “soon to be” State of the art Library. I am thrilled beyond belief. Everyday I get to see the progress. These guys are working hard in all kinds of weather. I can’t wait for the opening.
