Boylston Street entrance Now Open

by Christine Schonhart

The first phase of the Central Library renovation is complete and the second floor of the Johnson building is open, featuring a new Children’s Library, Teen Central, nonfiction collection, and reference services. The 700 Boylston Street entrance to the library, which closed in November due to renovations, is now open again to all library visitors. Once users enter through the accessible, stroller-friendly corridor, both an elevator and stairs can be used to gain access to the renovated second floor and the adjacent McKim building. The Dartmouth Street entrance remains open during library hours and the Johnson building can be accessed via the the McKim building.
