Boston in the Gilded Age Tour and Lecture

This event features a tour by exhibition curator Stephanie Cyr and a lecture by Alex Krieger, Professor in Practice of Urban Design at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Join us for an afternoon of hands-on activities for children including map-themed puzzles, word games, origami, and bookmark –making, and guided tours of Boston in the Gilded Age: Mapping Public Places, a new exhibition of 30 maps, prints and photographs that highlights the emergence of Boston’s park system and of Back Bay as the City’s cultural hub.
