There are many ways to contribute to the Boston Public Library. Help keep our programs and services "Free to All." We accept donations through several fundraising groups.

iconiconAssociates of the Boston Public Library The Associates of the Boston Public Library is a community-based organization dedicated to expanding the role of the Boston Public Library in the intellectual life of the City.

iconBoston Public Library Foundation The mission of the Boston Public Library Foundation is to enhance the public visibility of and to raise public and private funds for the revitalization of the Boston Public Library.

Branch Library Friends Groups. Most branches of the Boston Public Library have their own friends group. To get involved with particular branch's friends group, contact that branch library.

icon City-Wide Friends of the Boston Public Library The Friends was founded for the purpose of promoting public awareness of the Boston Public Library system and its resources, furthering appreciation of the value of the Library as a cultural and educational asset, supporting and linking the activities of Branch Library Friends groups, and encouraging volunteers to assist the Library.

Young Professionals of the Boston Public Library The Young Professionals strive to support the library, to increase awareness of and access to its vast resources, and to enhance its vital role in Boston's diverse neighborhoods. They welcome all young (and young-at-heart) community members interested in supporting and learning about the Library.
