The Catered Affair, one of Boston’s most renowned catering companies has joined in partnership with the Boston Public Library to oversee operation of the two restaurants located at the BPL’s Central Branch in Copley Square. The Map Room Café and The Courtyard Restaurant, both located on the first floor of the library’s historic McKim building, offer two new exciting dining venues in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay.

The Courtyard Restaurant, aptly named for it location adjacent to the Central Library’s Italianate Courtyard, offers luncheon dining, as well as afternoon tea service. It is open Monday through Friday from 11:30-2:30 for lunch. Tea is served from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

The Map Room Café, offers a more casual dining opportunity. Open from 9 a.m.to 5p.m., Monday through Saturday, The Map Room Café is a perfect breakfast spot or a place to grab a casual lunch or snack.
