  • BPL card holders can access more than 300 free six-week online Gale Courses, with topics including project management, guitar, grant writing, video editing, and more.
  • Students in grades K-8 can receive free afterschool homework help from high-achieving high school students at Boston Public Library locations throughout the 2015-2016 school year.
  • The Rare Books Department at the Central Library in Copley Square will be closed through November for maintenance. During this time, all Boston Public Library rare books and manuscript materials will be unavailable for viewing. Please note that many items from the Rare Books Department are available online through the Digital Commonwealth or Internet Archive. We apologize for any inconvenience.
