  • A special meeting of the Boston Public Library Board of Trustees will be held in the Abbey Room at the Central Library in Copley Square on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at 8 a.m. The meeting will include a report on investigations into the missing Albrecht Dürer engraving and Rembrandt etching, the external BPL Operational and Financial Assessment by Chrysalis Management, LLC, the BPL's system-wide safety and security, and BPL collections management. The Abbey Room is located on the second floor of the Central Library at 700 Boylston Street. Attendees should enter from Dartmouth Street.
  • As part of Revolutionary Boston, a citywide commemoration of the Revolutionary War, Boston Public Library is hosting a wide variety of Revolution-themed events throughout the year, including author talks, lectures, concerts, and programs for children and teens.
  • This summer the Bibliocycle - the library's bike and book trailer outreach program - is making stops around Boston to deliver library services on the go, including book checkout, library card sign up, and story times.
