Value Line Now Available Remotely

value lineValue Line is now available remotely for four simultaneous users for Massachusetts residents with a Metro Boston Library Network card or an e-card. Value Line is an independent investment research and financial publishing firm based in New York City, founded in 1931 by Arnold Bernhard. Value Line is best known for publishing The Value Line Investment Survey, a stock analysis newsletter that is among the most highly regarded and widely used independent investment research resources in global investment and trading markets, tracking approximately 1,700 publicly traded stocks in over 99 industries.

New Pothole Study by American Automobile Association

“In the last five years, 16 million drivers across the country have suffered pothole damage to their vehicles,” said John Nielsen, AAA’s managing director of Automotive Engineering and Repair. “The problems range from tire punctures and bent wheels, to more expensive suspension damage.”



“On average, American drivers report paying $300 to repair pothole-related vehicle damage,” continued Nielsen. “Adding to the financial frustration, those whose vehicles incurred this type of damage had it happen frequently, with an average of three times in the last five years.”

Foundation Center Databases Available at Any Computer in the Central Library

Foundation Directory Online Professional, Foundation Grants to Individuals Online, and Foundation Maps are now available on any computer in the Central Library without a password. Foundation Directory Online Professional is used by grant-seekers to find funding for nonprofits. It is no longer necessary for people to use these databases at the Kirstein Business Library, although staff is always happy to help.
