Gina Perille, Chief of Communications & Strategy
Gina is responsible for all internal and external communications for Boston Public Library, work that spans the library’s twenty-five neighborhood locations and 3.7 million annual visitors. She is the author of Boston Public Library’s award-winning strategic plan, the BPL Compass, and was one of the leaders on the two-year community and staff engagement process. Since taking over the communications office, Gina has designed and launched the organization’s social media presence and has helped increase visits to the BPL website by 50%.
In previous roles, Gina led an international corporate foundation and worked at a management consulting firm that advised government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and foundations. She is a published photographer, author, and theatre critic. Gina earned a BFA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MBA from Boston University, and is an alumni of LeadBoston.
