Tax Forms - Help

Government Documents

Where can I get tax forms?

You may pick up tax forms at the Central Library and all BPL branches (except for the Brighton branch, which will be closed through the fall of 2010). The Honan-Allston branch receives federal (IRS) tax forms, but not Massachusetts state tax forms. Because supplies can be depleted quickly, it is wise to call your branch first to check on availability.

At the Central Library, various forms can be obtained at the Kirstein Business Library, located on the concourse (lower level) of the building and in the Government Documents Department on the second floor of the McKim Building. Both locations in the Central Library will carry some of the less common forms. There are also master copies of some forms available for copying. Photocopying costs fifteen cents per page.

The basic forms 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, and the Massachusetts form will also be available in the lobby of the Johnson Building starting in March 2010.
