by noted Boston Globe photographer E.E. Bond.Edmunds E. Bond (1871-1969) began his
career as a studio photographer in Maine at the end of the 19th century.In
1904, Bond joined the staff of The Boston Globe and worked as a staff photographer until
his retirement in 1956.Photographs in the collection include cabinet cards from his days
as a studio photographer, hidden camera photographs from important early 20th
century trials, Boston sports and politics and Boston scenes.Images include photographic
prints, negatives and lantern slides.
