Train Etiquette

by Anna

Getting on and off the T, especially when you’re in a hurry, can be annoying and often times rough going, especially when you’ve got a wave of people trying to do the opposite as you at the same time. Especially right before, or right after Red Sox games. Right? We all know that feeling. You’re anxious to get a seat first so you’re not crushed by the throng of people crowded around you, or anxious to get off the train to get away from that throng of people. It’s not easy.

However, there is common sense etiquette that will help you get on or off the train much easier and faster without all the hastle.  Those who love sports especially, will love this great, humorous poster/diagram currently being used by the Toronto Transit Civility Commission:

And remember, two objects (bodies) cannot occupy the same space at the same time! Duh!
