Goodbye to National Poetry Month

by Laura

As we wrap up National Poetry month, here’s one more poem written by a teen at the Boston Public Library. Kara wrote this poem at the Grove Hall branch’s blackout poetry workshop. If you’ve never tried blackout poetry, you can learn more about it here – it’s a great way to re-purpose found items into your own poem! Here’s Kara’s poem written out:

Ways to
Feel like you never leave the office
pick too many things to do
Remember
To
spend two or
three hours a day on
little things
see what didn’t
get accomplished
