Body Image For TeensThe Palo Alto Medical Foundation’s Teen website “We’re Talking!” was  developed by the Adolescent Interest Group (AIG), composed of PAMF physicians, social workers, educators, and researchers concerned with addressing the health care needs of adolescents. A group of teens from the Summer Wellness Education and Training for Teens (SWEAT) Institute also contributed to the site.

 National Eating Disorders Association – NEDA supports individuals and families affected by eating disorders, and serves as a catalyst for prevention, cures and access to quality care.

Fast Meals and Quick Snacks – This is a publication made possible by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food Stamp Program, through the California Nutrition Network for Healthy, Active Families, and the Sutter Memorial Hospital Adolescent Family Life Program, Sacramento, California.

Take Charge of Your Health – This PDF publication is put out by the National Institutes of Health, who’s mission is to seek fundamental knowledge about the nature and behavior of living systems and the application of that knowledge to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce illness and disability.

How To Walk To Mordor – It has been said that “One does not simply walk into Mordor…” And yet, that’s exactly what courageous Frodo and Sam of the Shire did. Through endless fields, expansive caves, and dense forests.  All the way to Mordor to destroy the One Ring. The distance was only a mere 1,779 miles.  This blog post by Nerd Fitness explains how and why simply walking is so beneficial while showing you how you can follow Frodo Baggins on his journey to destroy the One Ring from J.R.R.
