Road Trip Wednesday #68: Whaddya Know…

Posted on February 24th, 2011 by Anna in Books

This Week’s Topic is super interactive:

What do you want to know about writing and getting published? Post one question on your blog, then visit other RTW blogs and offer up your advice to their question. Hopefully, all RTW participants will get a handful or more answers to their question.

And here’s my question, that I’m hoping, you’ll all find useful: How does the whole agent/editor thing work? You write your book, you spend hours editing it until it’s shiny in it’s perfection… and then what? Do you find an editor first? An agent? A publisher?
That’s just my question, but feel free to post yours in our comments section, or to visit the YA Highway blog and post your question there for immediate answers!

YA Highway is a blog (www.yahighway.com) by a group of young adult authors from all over the world! And every Wednesday YA Highway’s contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question and answer it on their own blogs. You can hop from destination to destination, from their blog, and get everybody’s unique take on the topic.

But, why not do the same thing on our blog every week? I’ll post their question and you can put your answers in our comments section, or on your own blog and link back to it in our comments (and theirs too, if you’d like, because I’m sure they’d enjoy reading your answers!)
