Another Snow Day But Not For the Library!

Posted on January 21st, 2011 by Anna in Events, Movies

There’s a lot of snow flying around out there today and schools are closed… but the Boston Public Library is open until 5pm tonight!

Here in the Copley Teen Room, we’re showing random episodes of Roswell all day until 3pm. At 3, the anime club meets and they will be starting the series Bleach. Anyone is welcome to watch either Roswell or Bleach. Come on over and enjoy a good show while the snow falls all around us!

Also at 3pm is our knitting club meeting. Even if you’ve never knitted anything before, you’re welcome to come learn the basics. And if you do know how to knit, bring your needles and have some fun! The knitting club meets every Friday afternoon in January.

Next week on Saturday the 29th from 1-4pm we’re having a Stuff Swap in the Copley Teen Room. Did you get a few unwanted gifts for Christmas? Are you tired of that old poster hanging on your wall? Looking for a way to get rid of books you don’t want without throwing them out? Bring it all to the Stuff Swap and swap it for things you DO want! We just ask that what you bring is still in good usable shape, that it’s something someone else might possibly want.
