Roslindale Project

Roslindale Branch Renovation Project

The Roslindale Branch is currently closed for renovations with plans to reopen in 2021. The renovation will feature a new entryway, improved visibility and openness, a designated Teen area with study rooms, a Children’s area with a literacy nook, an Adult area with a window front laptop bar, a larger community room, a conference room, new restrooms, new furniture and fixtures, and updated mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. The project is a collaboration between the Boston Public Library and the Public Facilities Department, under the leadership of Mayor Michelle Wu, and the architecture firm Leers Weinzapfel Associates.
