Alan Andres Writing Fellowships 2026–2027 Now Open: $70K BPL Residency & $25K Fellowship for Emerging Writers

The Associates of the Boston Public Library is pleased to share that applications for our 2026-27 Alan Andres Writing Fellowships are now open until June 5, 2026. Applicants may apply to only one fellowship, and winners are selected through a blind judging process. Both fellowships are funded by a generous anonymous donor committed to writers earning a living wage.
