MassEdCO Education & Career Planning Center housed in the Lower Level of the Boylston Street Building within Kirstein Business Library & Innovation Center at the Central Library, Copley Square.

The MassEdCo Education & Career Planning Center provides in-person support for Massachusetts high school students, parents, and adults planning to attend college, searching and applying for scholarships and financial aid, and looking to achieve their dream of receiving a degree.

Associates of the Boston Public Library

The Associates of the Boston Public Library is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving the Boston Public Library's special collections of rare books, manuscripts, and other items of significant historic interest. 

City-Wide Friends of the Boston Public Library

The Friends was founded for the purpose of promoting public awareness of the Boston Public Library system and its resources, furthering appreciation of the value of the library as a cultural and educational asset, supporting and linking the activities of Branch Library Friends groups, and encouraging volunteers to assist the library.

Digital Public Library of America (DPLA)

The DPLA Hubs Model is establishing a national network out of the over forty state/regional digital libraries and myriad large digital libraries in the US, bringing together digitized and born-digital content from across the country into a single access point for end users and an open platform for developers.

Boston Public Library Fund

The Boston Public Library Fund is the primary fundraising arm of the BPL. Private philanthropy plays a pivotal role in transforming the Boston Public Library’s aspirations into results, and in catapulting us to new heights of innovation and achievement.

Internet Archive

The Internet Archive is a non-profit digital library founded by Brewster Kahle in 1996 with the mission to provide “Universal Access to All Knowledge.” The Internet Archive scans and digitizes select bound materials for Boston Public Library.

Metro Boston Library Network

The Metro-Boston Library Network (MBLN) includes public libraries from Boston, Chelsea, Malden, Fisher College, Newman School, and many Boston Public School Libraries.

Norman B. Leventhal Map & Education Center

The Norman B. Leventhal Map & Education Center at the Boston Public Library, created in 2004, is a nonprofit organization established as a public-private partnership between the library and philanthropist Norman Leventhal. Its mission is to use the collection of 200,000 maps and 5,000 atlases for the enjoyment and education of all through exhibitions, educational programs, and a website that includes more than 10,000 digitized maps at leventhalmap.org.

The Catered Affair (TCA)

The BPL partners with the TCA to provide dining options in three distinct spaces at the BPL: the Map Room Tea Lounge, Newsfeed Café, and the Courtyard Tea Room.

GBH's Boston Public Library Studio

GBH's studio at the Boston Public Library features weekly tapings of Boston Public Radio, public events, and filming of specials such as Hear at the Library and Listen Up! with Craig and Edgar
