Sixty years ago, an article titled “A UFO Chiller: Did THEY seize the couple?” appeared on the front page of the Boston Traveler on October 25, 1965. Over the next five days, reporter John H. Luttrell recounted the unbelievable story of Betty and Barney Hill: an interracial couple from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, who believed they were abducted by aliens on the night of September 19, 1961.
