Angela Veizaga is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Boston Public Library. She is the liaison between the library, and its affiliates, including the Boston Public Library Fund, the Associates, the Norman B. Leventhal Map & Education Center, the City-wide Friends, and organizations throughout the City of Boston, and city agencies.

Angela has over a decade of experience working at a public library; her career began at the Boston Public Library’s East Boston and Mattapan branches as the Teen Librarian at both locations. She then transitioned to System-wide Youth Programs Librarian. She oversaw and curated system-wide youth programs for all 25 branches. Before her current role, Angela was the Assistant Manager of Youth Services and, alongside the Manager of Youth Services, oversaw services for all youth and major youth program initiatives throughout the system.

Angela holds a master’s degree in Library & Information Science from Simmons University and a B.A. in English/Art History from George Washington University.
