Adult Summer Reading
The Adult Summer Reading Program takes place June 1 through August 31! Sign up in person at any one of our branches to receive a tote bag while supplies last. You may also sign up online at bpl.org/bingo, where you may also fill out, download, and print your bingo card.
The available cards include the regular Bingo Challenge with reading and activity squares, the Read More bingo card without activity squares, and the regular bingo card in Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole.
Youth Summer Reading
The Youth Summer Reading Program runs from June 1 to August 31, and this year we’re excited to introduce something new! Youth ages 0–17 are invited to take part in BPL Bingo, a fun, engaging way for the whole family to join in. We’ve created two unique bingo cards—one for children and one for teens—each filled with age-appropriate activities and reading challenges.
You can pick up a bingo card at your local BPL branch or download one from our website. When you register, you’ll receive a BPL tote bag—while supplies last—available at any BPL location.
Complete a bingo and stop by any BPL branch to receive a special BPL Summer Reading sticker, also while supplies last.
This summer, we’re also offering a recommended reading list curated in collaboration with Boston Public Schools, along with a wide range of fun and educational programs running throughout the season.
