Having fun isn’t hard, when you’ve got a library card!

September is National Library Card month. Here at the BPL, there's so much more that you can do with your library card than just check out books and do research for homework.

Music

Thanks to apps like Hoopla, you can check out and stream that Cardi B or Drake album without paying fees like you would for Tidal or iTunes.

Museums

Looking for something to do when there's no school? You can use your library card to check out museum passes to places like the New England Aquarium, the Museum of Fine Arts or the Dreamland Wax Museum.  Find and reserve a pass online or pop into your local branch to see what's available.

Gaming

Want to travel back in time and beat the Giants in the 2012 Superbowl? Madden NFL 12 is just one of the games you can borrow from the Library. Don't have a game system? Head over to Teen Central at Copley and check out their gaming lineup.

TV Shows and Movies

With your card you can check out the latest releases, or stream hit TV shows like Avatar: The Last Airbender

Magazines

Want to read ESPN The Magazine's cover article about Odell Beckham Jr.? Use your card to order the latest issue and get it sent to your local branch. Don't want to wait? Download it using RB Digital Media.
