Description: Paesiello Emerson was a longtime resident of Longmeadow, Massachusetts when he took up photography as a hobby at the age of 70 in 1902. He photographed many of his neighbors and the buildings around Longmeadow and surrounding towns. By the time he died in 1927, he left behind a substantial record of the people and places of the region during that time.
