Roxbury Branch Renovation Project

The Roxbury Branch opened for BPL To Go service on October 26, 2020. The renovation features a new welcome area overlooking a redesigned plaza, improved visibility and openness, dedicated space for children, teens, and adults, a nutrition lab and learning lab, and refreshed collections. This project is a collaboration between the Boston Public Library and the Public Facilities Department, under the leadership of Mayor Martin J. Walsh, and the architecture firm Utile, Inc.
