South End Facility Improvements
In FY19 the South End Branch interior reconfiguration project continues, which includes electrical upgrades, as well as new carpet, paint, and some furniture. This project is funded by the FY18 capital budget and additional funds raised by the Friends of the South End Branch.
Programming Study
Mayor Walsh’s FY19-FY23 Recommended Budget identifies $100,000 for a programming study at the location to be scheduled during FY20; to assess the facility, review neighborhood needs, and develop an updated building program.
